Question New Rear Brake Setup Advice Needed

Hi.

My rear disk is worn out, the pads are covered in oil/grease and the rear calliper doesn't float very freely (despite multiple attempts to get it sorted). I've decided to replace the rotor, the pads and the calliper all in one go.

I was thinking of just buying all OEM parts, but was wondering if you guys could recommend any cheaper, more reliable or better performing equivalents.

Also: I now have 15k on my little ninja. Roughly how much life do you think my rear brake line has left in it; is it worth getting that replaced too?

Any advice, or links to threads with useful info would be much appreciated.

(FYI: I'm a complete novice when it comes to tech talk so anything complicated needs to be explained in terms your 16 year old 12 year old niece could understand. I probably wont be fitting the parts. I have a friend who does most the work I need doing on my bike.)

There are limits of thickness for the discs; sometimes their surfaces can be flattened with a lathe.

The caliper may be just dirty, which tends to jam all the parts, even if they are not worn out.

The hose can stay, if it does not show signs of deterioration.

Measure and deep clean first before replacing. Then oem if replacing.
