Without a smiley face even? Someone forget to make your coffee this morning?
I remember someone bring them up before, but for the life of me I can't find the thread, searching on either CR31 or Keihin. Anyway, I don't think anyone had installed them yet, and I remember one of the track junkies saying that they wouldn't be legal in the classes they run, so they hadn't tried them either.

Keihin CR Jetting
Anyone with experience jetting these? I bought the kit from Sudco and found them too rich for my bike. K&N individual pods, Yoshi full system. Pulled them off to take a look inside. Using a 112 main and a 65 pilot. Assuming they blew it when they installed the 65 pilot (as stock carbs run a 38). Going to order a 40 pilot tomorrow. Picked up a few smaller mains as well as she is very flat at full throttle. Nice between 1/4 and 3/4. Have not installed the new mains as I am looking to get the rich idle taken care of first. Altitude is about 2k ft. at home. Sure I will get it figured out but figured I would post the inquiry to see what others are working with.
Thanks, JB |

I wouldn't go with smaller mains then the 112's if at sea level cause that is the right size for the mods you have listed but at 2k feet try moving to a 110 or 108 main. I bet your getting it to bog down when you roll on the throttle in Lower Rpms. The main issue with them is they are truly for racing applications only not intended for street use. I found the only cure was to set the idle high like 3300-3500. I switch back and forth between stock and sudco for street and racing. These suckers literally suck the air in until our vaccuum style stocks when you open them up they open and down lower it is just way to rich. I talked to the president of the company and his word were you have to be really easy down low. But when you racing how often is the bike below 3200rpm.
