Necessary Large Socket/Wrench Sizes

My track toolbox is getting too heavy (or I'm getting too old) I'm trying to figure out what I can take out of the box.

Starting at 16mm, what are the necessary large socket/wrench sizes for the 2008-2011 Ninja 250?

What I have so far
17mm Axle bolts
19mm Pit bull rear stands
22mm Front axle
24mm Rear axle
27mm front sprocket nut

16,18,20,21,23,25,26+ unused?

I think you got them covered. The unused sockets seem to be the ones not used (based on me watching Walter work on my Ninja 250 at last CVMA weekend).

You could try switching out your toolbox to a plastic one. When I did that it weighed a lot less. I used to bring a toolbox just like yours and it was as heavy as a mother****er.

You could make a toolbox with tools dedicated for trackdays only. Sofia and I did that pretty much with exception of a few tools that we don't have spares for and it makes packing a lot easier.

But I'm subscribing to this thread so I can make a new checklist of required tools for the 250...but could be a moot point since Sofia has an SV650...so just might as well bring everything.

Don't forget the spark plug socket. That's an odd one. if you are planning on doing invasive track side engine work you probably want an 11,28 and a clutch tool

There's a dedicated OEM tool for that under the seat and it's actually better than a spark plug wrench which is also better than a socket. It's articulated and doesn't require the removal of the tank.

He's not keeping these on the bike either and he should still have it somewhere. Also, it's incredibly light, which is what this thread is looking for.

But, yeah, if he doesn't have it then he will want to hunt down a correctly sized socket or a plug wrench.
