Un-winterized spring cleaning
So the bike, not mine, has been sitting (in the same spot. Flat spots on the tires. Ugh) since last summer. The fuel doesn't smell... Prime. It idles okay but reeks of dog p*** when it's running. Aside from new oil and a new fuel, what can I do to flush this motor out and make sure it's ready for a new season?

It's not just the motor....here's the list of what I would do.
Flush Brake fluid Flush and replace coolant Change oil and filter Air cleaner (check and/or replace) Spark plugs Check valve lash With the new fuel, add the prescribed amount of SeaFoam for extra cleaning Clean, lube and adjust chain Lube cables New tires....while you're in there, check the brake pads for wear and the wheel bearings
