Probably gonna wear the same sheriff outfit as two years ago. Seemed to be a hit then plus it made me feel good about myself when i was wearing it for halloween.

I've had an idea that I will not get to use this Halloween as I will be at a friend's wedding. Maybe one of you can use one.

Dress up in a leather apron, visor, glasses. Carry tack hammer, shoe, and basket of peaches.

Give up? That's peach cobbler.

One year I did "Freud" because all I had to do was throw on a sport coat, put on my reading glasses, and carry a pipe (wood - not of the glass variety).

This year I was thinking about the newly famous "Cigar Guy" (of the Tiger Woods Variety), because all I would need to do is throw a towel on my head, and a cigar in my mouth..... but then I figured I would have to shave..... so I decided to be myself, like 99% of Halloweens.

One year my wife I and had to go to a costume party. We where late getting a costume. All the shop had was a two person cow costume. So we took it .While on the way to the party, the car broke down. Lucky for us the party was in a barn and we had a cow costume. So we put on the cow costume and headed for the party. We got about half way across the field .When I heard somthing snort and paw the ground . My wife asked" what is that?" I said "its a bull." She said "What are you going to do?" I said "I am going to pretend I am eating grass .you better brace your self."

Since guam is a U.S. Territory, I believe I took the first halloween pic I was too cheap for an actual costume, but it went with the zombie theme of the party. And YES, that is my sexy pose lol

I work tonight, but even if I wasn't, I wouldn't be trick-or-treating.

Sorry guys, but I just don't see the fun in it anymore. I think I stopped when I was 16-ish if not earlier. When I was six years old, sure it was fun. Walking around the neighborhood door to door dressed up with an empty pillow case to be filled with candy was so bizarre then. I don't know if you guys weigh your collection, but I think my record is 13 lbs of candy.

I remember when I was little I'd stick my tiny head inside a pillow case full of candy and it was like I was swimming in a gold mine.

Even my 23 year old sister still goes.

I'm much more health-conscious now. Candy is useless. Plus I binge more during Christmas and Thanksgiving so I'm going to save room for the real good stuff.

Trick or Treating is canceled for most areas in CT because of the widespread power outages, downed wires and trees from the storm. I was just going to pass out candy lol.

I'm glad I'm working tonight. I don't want to sit at home while kids show up at my door every 5 minutes causing the dog to bark obnoxiously.

Actually, now that I think of it, our front door is busted. So I guess my mom is just going to leave a bowl of candy outside.

Remember those with the "please take one" labeled on them?

Yeah, like that'll happen.

I'm Allstate's Mayhem this year! I already had a two piece black suit, so I bought a black vest at Macy's for $50 (looks pretty sharp, actually), some butterfly closure bandages (they were hard to find), and a $7 make-up kit from Walgreen's to make the cuts and bruises and whatnot. Oh, and I also got some white felt/foam sheets and cut out the letters for STATE to pin to the back of my suit, so I can be your lucky team flag. We've been through fourteen seasons together, but in flag years, I'm about a hundred and thirty...

I already wore the costume for a friend's birthday party, which was at a billiard hall. Some people thought I was just really well-dressed and had been in a fight/car accident, but most people got it. I'll wear it again when I hand out candy on the 3rd (trick or treating postponed due to that friggin' snowstorm). Since it's mostly just a suit, it's pretty comfortable as long as I remember not to touch my face.

I hope it dies a quick death. Its an American thing not an aussie thing and yet we get random kids come for lollies. I feel the Supermarkets are trying to force it on us when we don't really want it.

If it had been around as long as it has in the US then it might be a different story, but it seems as if the Supermarkets thought it a good thing (cha ching $$$$) and not the populace.

You should really do some research. Halloween is actually older than the US. It's just been "commercialized" in the US is all.

I was reffering to how long it has been going in the US to how long its been going in Australia.

Still doesn't mean I have to like it. Just because it's become "the norm" doesn't mean I have to agree with it. That's great thing about freedom of choice.

I didn't dress up this year, i had work.

I really wanted to be something cool, but something besides all the slutty costumes for girls. My friend is having a "belated" halloween party this weekend, maybe I'll come up with something then...
