Any TV experts?

My workplace is having a charity auction and one of the items is a Toshiba 24V4210U. It's a 23.6" 60Hz LED with a built in DVD player.

The current bid is $146, and the auction ends on October 28, 5:00 PM. Originally, I was thinking about outbidding and then flipping the TV for a profit.

Or if the TV is any good I might just keep it if I should decide to bid/win the auction. It retails at $288.00 (from Abt was the cheapest I could find online) I am thinking about bidding as much as $160 (idk?) when my shift ends Sunday at 3:00 and luckily get away with a steal. It seems like either none of my coworkers are interested in it, or they're just waiting to bid at the last few hours like I am.

Are these specs any good? Does Toshiba even make good TV's? I know nothing.

It's not worth $288, I'll tell ya that. You're going to have a hard time flipping that. I woulnd't pay over $200 for a 24 inch tv (whether LED or LCD) and the built in dvd player is just one expensive item to fix when it breaks.

Amazon reviews seem solid.

I have a Toshiba 26" LCD HDTV. Got it back in 08 or 09 for Christmas. Can't remember which. But it has been a great TV. I'd buy another Toshiba in the future.
