They are pretty cool, but they are smaller than what would normally be considered motorcycle sized. They also are a KIT...not a fully constructed bike. You have to put it together...which would be a fun project. There are a couple of guys here that have built the 125cc versions. The trick is getting it tagged with the DMV. There is no VIN on them, only an Manufacturers State of Origin (MSO)...and some states dont want to tag homebuilts anymore.

These things are pieces of cr*p - the owner of the company is a *sshole and the forum is full of d*ckheads.... 3/4 scale toys.

Try "Kicker 5150". I forgot the owners name because thats where the good stuff is. Apparently he actually used to sell them legit. Then he started sending them without the paperwork to get them legal. Then he started taking orders for a new vtwin bike that he has no plans on releasing. The bikes would show up without parts & he would say sorry for your luck IF you could actually talk to him. I havent checked in awile but last i heard he went MIA. The hardknock was what I was going to get before I joined the hardknock forums and read up. There are still Hardknock fanboys which are the people who actually got their bikes before all the bullshit started and are friends with him personally. They, Not suprisingly, are still taken care of. READ UP. It's not worth the risk. They have other bikes with the same idea you just have to look them up with legit service.

However if you want an already built bike similar to the hardknock, it costs a tad more though, there is the Cleveland Cyclewerks Heist.

A guy who used to be a dealer for hardknock stopped when he relized what the owner was doing and started selling Ccw's.
