Question New Daily Rider. Advice on all weather tires please!!

I just bought a 2012 Nina 250. I commute in city 2 miles to work and 2 miles home. It is the rainy season and I need a good all weather tire that I can trust in the rain. Any advice?? The ones that were recommended in articles for bikes in general I read were too large to fit the rear tire of the 250.

Michelin Pilot Street radial tires. Fantastic treadwear, great wet weather performance, and good performance overall.

Welcome Dave, good to meet you.

It seems like for a 2 mile trip to work, a bicycle would be much more practical, and avoid running your Ninja's engine a lot without it ever warming up, which isn't good for it at all.

Another for the michelin pilot street radials, they are great all weather tires that actually perform better in the rain than the dry. I've used them as rain race tires this year to great effect, even dragging knee in mixed conditions on them. This on tires that I got ~10k+ street miles on before I even started riding the bike on the track
