Icon Helmets

How many of you have them? I just got the Icon Hooligan Mesh Jersey and need to get a new helmet so I wouldn't mind getting an Icon one. Let me know what you have and how you like/dislike it.

Thanks

My first helmet was an Icon Alliance SSR. Didn't have it for long and being the first helmet, I couldn't really judge it then. Next helmet was an Icon Airframe. Much improved over the Alliance SSR but when I started shopping around for a new helmet, I realized that it's actually a relatively heavy helmet. Honestly, the price of Icon stuff is higher for the sole purpose of image and graphics. I like that they have plenty of green gear available and the graphics are cool, but you can get something of better quality with the same amount money. I personally don't care to get any more Icon gear at this point. If it's what you like though, it's decent quality gear.

I had an airframe. F*cker was HEAVY. But it was a nice helmet and never had fogging issues. I much prefer my Nexx XR1R Carbon but it's $$$$$. Though there's other gear I'll buy first I always say that Icon makes good stuff.

I have an icon variant salvo. Looks pretty awesome with a mirrored visor, and has good mounting positions for a gopro/drift

1 of mine whistles above 30mph somewhere on the left of the visor, Not been able to really fix it yet. My other one is perfectly fine. Would recommend ear plugs with this helmet

Only real thing that bothers me (which is very minor) is that part of the inside liner isnt really secured to anything. Pics will show what i mean.

Can put my hand under that and pull it up/out

this is what it normally looks like.

I have an Airmada in silver, no graphics. The new helmets with the ProShield are much easier for a visor change. The sideplates aren't expensive and make it super easy to switch out. The FOV on the Airmada/ProShield is wider than the older ones.
