I spend more time riding it than washing it

But most of the photos I have of it are from a long weekend around the country, I don't usually carry my DSLR on the bike but had a small camera with me that weekend

Not really a prime photo op. but I like it with the romantic mist just starting. Parked on I-40 while helping a broken down trike. (guy was missing 3 of 4 lug nuts on one wheel

so we rode 2-up to a parts store.)

Finally got around to putting the yoshi pipe in.

Now I just need to get the clips on and change gearing. Not sure if I want to tweak jetting yet. Probably after I get on the track.

Full system or slip-on? Snorkel? no snorkel? pod filter?

Test ride it, and try some stuff. No matter what changes you made, it's going to need some changes to the jetting.

No snorkel, put in the KN filter in there. I used to ride with one washer stock. Adjusted to 3 for the FS setup for now. Pulls great, burns through 2nd through 4th pretty quickly. I havent taken through the higher RPM band yet but I'm not too concerned. I was surprised at the small gain I got. I'll probably get around to tweaking around with a jet kit next week or so.

Sounds like a good plan. I'm betting it will respond well at WOT in the high rpm's to a main jet that's 1 size larger than stock.

hahaha funds are tight, I wont be able to finish it, but the dude who might be getting it is down to finish it. He even said hed pay me to finish it. He seems cool too so we will see. I want to finish it but its just not worth the extra money right now.

That's exactly how I did it, but he is the shop because he does his own powder coating.

Firstly, I am new here, and I think I found my new home!
Heres a few of my new baby, after two weeks of owning it I am quite pleased!

The ninja was quite a downgrade from my VFR750F, but it is much more powerful than I expected it to be! This little sucker is light weight and absolutely jumps on it, gotta say I love it and am not complaining at the $2400 price tag!

I have never seen this color scheme on the 250r, I figured you guys might appreciate it! Now, help me find a good color for led's, they will come shortly after the dual under tail! :thumb up:

Ill try to get a few photos of it tomorrow in the daylight!

It took a while and a lot of penny pinching on my part (dirt poor college student, guilty as charged

) to transform her into what she currently looks like, but it was all worth it! (ahem... a diet of noodles and water notwithstanding)...as for the rim strips, I don't know, they might actually make the green pop out more on your bike and there's always the increased side visibility they offer...

I got it off of ebay and yes, it's velcro'd on and supposedly guaranteed to stay on up to speeds reaching 180mph (I regularly take mine up to a 100 and then some and it hasn't budged but ebbs and flows

). It's great, I get the celebrity treatment with cagers snapping pics of me and pedestrians drooling like mad dogs whenever I pass by, so yeah, definitely get it!
