Hey wasup everyone, i'm new to the motorcycle scene and was wondering if there were any weekly meets in the Los Angeles area?

Im Westside Santa Monica to be specific. We have a group every sunday that does Topanga Canyon/Old Topanga Canyon Road to Mulholland Highway, pass The Rock Store, continue Mullholland Highway and connect to PCH at the very end of Malibu. Amazing ride.

So far its actually 3 guys who live on my BLOCK. So we just meet on the street. But we need a formal meeting place because there are about 2-4 people who are about to join the group.

I've been thinking of a good parking lot to meet in. I am thinking of this parking lot right off the street at this school.

Also if your looking for a community of riders check out www.ocmoto.com
They're more OC than LA county..but it's a very large community. There's different bike nights posted for almost each day during the week and there's always rides on the weekend. Check them out.

o.O It looks like you guys are RIGHT on top of me (I'm at the Yahoo Center at Broadway & Cloverfield); that route looks amazing. Are you riding it this Sunday? Any chance I could hang way back and follow?

Looks like such a blast especially going through Mullholand Hwy... I'd be so up for it but I lack experience and the proper equipment like a leather jacket and boots.

I do have a helmet with an awesome blue iridium visor and gloves though...

You don't necessarily need full gear as long as you be sure to take it easy and not try to haul ass through those corners!

I went with them on a beginner ride a couple of weeks ago, which is more my pace. They have various tiers in their group, from beginners to experienced track riders.

we have bike nights happening at AU79 in Arcadia and MJ Cafe in Industry.
Also bike nights at the Hat in Brea and sometimes we gather at Guppy's and Banana Bay also.

We also have a FB groups too.
