Wow chain, looking good!

Well. i went to top up my scottoiler but didn't have to since it still had just under half left in the reservoir.

Damn my chain looks like new! Lightly oily to the touch and super stupid clean to consider I ride in the mud and grit all the time.

Tis pic is after 1000 miles in the rain, wind, snow and mud with zero maintenance (obviously I check on it every hundred miles or so)

I have been always a skeptic with the Scotts oiler but the chain looks really clean. what kind of oil does the system use?

Special scottoiler oil, I uploaded another pic on my ipad but it deleted the previous...

Oil is about £8 a litre, I filled the reservoir by about 200ml, and it's half ful, so it's going to cost me about £3 a year.

That's pretty cheap. How many miles/kilometers do you ride a year?

I've done about 1000 this year so far

Depends on if I take the bike away, and for how long I take it away for.

Then the weather is a factor.

Edit: I'm delighted with the scottoiler v system with dual injectors, does exactly what it says on the box.

I'm intrigued, dual injectors? One each side of the rear sprocket?

I've got my Scottoiler in a box ready to go on, should really get around to it now the weather's nicer and I'm riding more...

Cheers, Pete
