Review: T-rex rear stand. Pics inside!

This isn't so much a review as it is me showing off my bike some more

Ordered straight from http://www.t-rex-racing.com/ Transaction was pretty smooth and it only took 2 days to ship from texas to florida. I purchased the Gold Galvanized T-Rex Rear Motorcycle Stand S= $66.45 and the T-rex Spool sliders 10mm for $12.50 with tax and shipping totaling to $93.95
Packaging was great and assembly was a snap. Pics to follow

And on the bike of course.

Overall it does what it's supposed to do and it doesn't seem at all flimsy or that it will ever get flimsy. It may be a little more than some other universal stands but I really like the option for the galvanized gold because it sets itself off in photo ops.

Couple extra pics

Looks great and good price too. I had their sliders on my WR250X before, good stuff.

Nice Bike. T-Rex makes some of the best motorcycle stands in the industry.

Warning:You have the hooked shaped arms that cradle the spools reversed. When the bike is on the stand, the longer part should be towards the front, not the rear.

Got your pm. Thanks for the heads up man! I feel dumb now lol. I wondered why it was a little tough to sit it on there. I was in such a rush to put it to use I never thought twice about the assembly.

Nothing to feel dumb about. Easy mistake to make. Glad it got straightened out before anything bad happened.

They don't, although it does help save the swing-arm in the chance you low-side on the left.

I've used the T-Rex front triple-tree and rear stands for over a year, and I think they're incredible. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

Do not confuse spools for sliders. They are two completely different things. The spools are made to fit into the hook of the stand so that the rear of the bike can be lifted. They are not designed to protect the bike in a fall. They are not frame sliders.

I have a black one. Compared to the overpriced pitbull stands, these provide same functionality, as sturdy and and offer better value.

Good review.

I believe he is referring to swing-arm sliders - which I can assure you will protect the swing-arm. I have had first-hand experience with it after my lowside on some very rough gravel, and the spool pretty much saved the swing-arm from any damage (I'll upload pictures soon)

Yes, any swing-arm slider will more than likely work with the T-rex Rear Stand (although I would recommend buying the T-Rex spools (10mm) as they are only $12.50, and very reliable.

I also believe there is still a promotion by T-Rex Racing in which the spools come free of charge. When my girlfriend ordered a rear stand, front stand (with triple-tree), and spools, she received a refund for the free set of spools included in her package (ordered in late February).

Quality- Excellent. The pin that comes standard on the triple tree is the prefect size for the Ninja 250 (08+).

I highly recommend this stand.
