Im in the process of installing new break pads for my 2012 ninja 250r. Im dojng the rear brake and im at the point where ive already replace the pads and got it mounted back on. Im trying to bleed the brake again but it just wont go. the brake stays soft and i dont feel any tension. The reservoir isnt moving at all. Some one help ASAP please.

Hi Bobby and welcome to Ninjette!

Hmmm, how far do you have bleeder unscrewed? Do you get any fluid out of it with bleeder-screw completely removed?

Sounds like its possibly airbound? Try bleeding the brake hose attaching bolt (at the master) until fluid runs. Then go back to the caliper, may take some repeated efforts till the system displaces air with fluid and responds.

Alternately, if airbound, injecting fluid *into* the bleeder offers an alternative method.

Also vacuum sucking from bleeder is another way. Much easier than open-pump-close-release-repeat method!

I suspect there may be an embarrassing “oops” component here...

"Some one help ASAP please." And so we did.

@DannoXYZ....oops very possible, or simply a "grab and run"?

OP.....Posting/offering feedback is important to Ninjette forum reference resources in benefiting future members.

So, one mo' time....wha' happened?
