250r matte black

Yesterday i bought 08´ ninja 250r.

It is preety much in its original state, has only 4500km and was re-painted.
Originally it was green.
It has dammaged fuel tank, as the previous owner dropped something on top of it .. but it will be fixed ASAP

i only have these 2 pics... still waiting for camera to return from service :P

For starting i have in plans K&N air and oil filter, and akrapovič exhaust system.

Can somebody give ma a link to some good store with ninja250 tunning parts? i was searching the net, bit didnt find anything for 250...

hope you like it

welcome.
That black looks pretty good and easy to clean.

If it were me, I'd look into getting some black hardware on your fairings. Those silver bolts stand out. Oh and a proper fender eliminator and I'd say

I had the option between blue and black, If I got black I was going to wrap the fearings etc in matte black vinyl. I like it.

thanks

Do you think that high-temp black spray will do the job?
Is preparation of the surface required ? (it seems to smooth for direct painting??)

At first i taught it will begin boring me after a month, but now, after 3 months I am enjoying it more than ever... these bikes are amazing

On todays ride i doubbeled the traveled distance since i bought her (4500km-->9000km)

sory for extremely bad quality... it was middle of the ride and i only have my cellphone with me

No mods yet, but a tons of new experience.
Curently saving for leovince full system and leovince fast, and still thinking about painting the exhaust

average 4l/100km... about 60mpg

That looks great, I've always had my eye on a stealth bomber black 848 Evo stealth.

Carbon exhaust would look well on it, smoked lenses or flushmounts too

do you think that paint will attach to chrome good enough to stay on?
or is sand-pappering it neccesary?

When I did mine, I made use to sandpaper the muffler to a very dull finish. I think I used 140 100 and 60 grit Then I washed it, made sure it was completely ry and dirt/lint free and started to painted it with Flat Black Spray Paint that was made for outdoor grills. It is rated to 1200 degrees so you will be fine.

I suggest making a small paint booth with cardboard boxes and drop clothes and then what I did was took a pole across the paint booth and some wire and strung the muffler up in the air through the bolt hole which normally attached to your passenger pegs. This gave me free range of motion and the muffler never touched anything.

I went over the muffler with the whole can, changing direction in between coats and waiting 45 min between coats also...so it was a long process but I love it!

I kept the polished cap as I like the way it looks, which is also the way the 2010 ninja have there mufflers as well. I think with the shield that hides the mid pipe and the silver muffler end cap and matte black muffler in the middle it looks awesome. Just unbolt the end cap, don't try taping a line
