Ninja 250 Deals Gap April 18 to April 23

I think i might be riding down to the Gap during this time. April 18 to April 23. Ride some of the best roads in the area. If you guys can, spread this out to the other 250 forums

you know, you can get ninja 250's pretty cheap. Specially the old gens. I got mine for 600$

Ya bud.. I had a pre-gen for $750 all lined up and still had to pass on it

Out of work for 7mo's sucks!!

I love the sign in the first picture, I've heard that truckers have been a problem there. Actually all of those pictures look fantastic. I still have school at the point when this would happen but there's another ninjette deals gap ride in mid may that I'll be a part of.

Move out of my house
Buy a house
Buy a car
Buy a dual sport motorcycle
Attend the Laurel Fork Ralley on the 24th-26th.
Go to a wedding on the 26th

...So put me as a maybe, put probably not likely in the interest of both finances and sanity.

Yep. The engine and frame are from Ninja 500, but not much else is. With apehangers and full knobbies, it's a dirt chopper ratbike. I haven't ridden it for a while now, so I'd probably sell it for $700 or so if you're interested.

Edit: I see you're from a milkshake stand in NC. You should know that this bike includes a power take-off on the engine designed specifically for blending milkshakes:

That's Burton, who also has the LED Aux lights. We went on a night mountain ride together, with him in front of course.
We also split off from the main group to at the last Deals Gap meet to ride some dirt roads together.

Where did the old forum go???

I believe there's another group of riders going to the gap the next month. That might account for the low interest in the one.

Hey guys, didnt know you all were still around. Scorch, I'll see about making it. Been a crazy past couple of months, lost some close relatives and trying to sort out some stuff. I still have my Buell Ulysses though, maybe able to meet up with you for a bit. I miss you all guys like crazy though......Ever talk to Burt or Nova anymore? i'll really try to come, but no more hiking adventures

Another thread here may be interested, might pop over there and check to see if anyone wants to go. Scorch, Im sure you'll want to camp wont ya?

I still keep in touch with Burton since he lives so close. But he is actually buying a Zero motorcycle, a full on electric motocycle. Pretty neat. Ill definatly want to camp too, got a new tent and all. It would be awesome to get the group back together, it was so much fun riding around last time. This time we will have to plan a more organized hiking trip!

Been outta work for 7 mo's (2 of those I wouldn't been able to work from accident) and the few times it seemed I had an offer coming in, they fell through.
I could have w/ tax return but decided not to add another cost at this time, need the money to live more. Even had to pass on a $750 pre-gen w no title (but was in great shape).
Plus we had a huge back-rent, plus had to pay in advance to give me time to find a job. So that took 85% of taxes anyway.

Kinda holdin hope out now for a job, making decent $$, then put a deposit on a CBR 650F. Might have to hold off till next yr's taxes though

It's been raining at my house since yesterday. We had a couple of 80 degree days and sun, then winter came back. They say it should be better tomorrow.

Thats what i hear. There are plenty of motorcycles out on deals gap even in the rain. All the photographers were there too taking photos. 2 kill boy stations etc...

That's where I usually stay when I go. Nice, clean place, free breakfast. Other food and gas right across the street.

camping would have sucked tonight. low 40's.
