Doug Polen to race Mid-Ohio AMA Pro event

Former World and AMA champion Doug Polen is slated to compete on a Ducshop Ducati 848 in the Daytona SportBike class at the AMA Pro Mid-Ohio eventAnnounced after the release of the AMA Pro Racing Daytona SportBike presented by AMSOIL preview, one of the most prolific motorcycle road racers in the history of the sport will be rejoining the AMA Pro Road Racing scene at the Honda Super Cycle Weekend presented by Dunlop Tire at Mid-Ohio Sport Car Course, July 16-18, 2010.

Twenty-nine time AMA Pro Road Racing winner and four-time World Champion Doug Polen will be reunited on the track with the iconic Ducati brand that brought him so much success worldwide. Polen has been conducting rider's schools for Ducati North America.
Polen will be teamed with the 2009 AMA Pro SunTrust Moto-GT2 Championship winning team, Ducshop Racing. This will be the third event in 2010 for Ducshop Racing and with four-time Mid-Ohio winner Polen aboard, they look to improve on their two top ten finishes so far this year.
