I am jealous....

I see all the fun that the people on here are having with their nice bikes... and I'm stuck....

My knee is worse than it has ever been. I've been using my brace for close to a week solid now and it's not getting any better. In fact, I've just realized that lifting something up with my lower leg hurts me pretty good.

I can ride a cruiser type bike, with the legs extended... but my twisty days are probably done.

Enjoy what you have... I enjoyed mine. I'm just lucky enough that my cage can roll through those turns just as well/if not better than my bike could.

I truly am jealous.

-Brandon

Have you tried physiotherapy? My knee pain flares up when i'm driving rigs and have to start wearing my brace too but i'm lucky that the bike doesn't seem to make it worse. I stop and rest if i start feeling some discomfort.

never heard of physiotherapy. The doc told me no more riding so I haven't been riding anymore. I ride every now and then just to keep the bike from rotting... but it's such a waste. That is why I'm trying to sell it.

Bike was fun when I could ride it. It probably wouldn't do much if I stretched out as often as I could as I do that now and it still doesn't seem to do much for me.

Doesn't help that pain killers doesn't work that good on my either. Stupid super liver filtering everything out.....

I would get a second opinion. There are a few ppl here with bad knees some had surgeries and they haven't given up their bikes. My minds eludes me at the moment but i think noche had surgery.

Sorry to hear But a week doesn't sound like a very long time. Take it easy. I hope your knee feels better soon.

Me too !! ACL about 25 years ago. (Dang dirt bike.)

it has never been right but now that I quad skate( I know sounds crazy) my quad is strong and it tracks way better. I could never excercise it before with out flaring up. Now only hurts 1/2 of the time haha!

I am so sorry it is sore. DON'T move stuff with your legs...it is so much a habit to push something out of the way with your foot but don't do it.
sideways pressure. BAD
Anyway you should at least ice 5 min / heat it 15, repeat. If it doesn't get better go to an Ortho. NOT a GP. good luck

What about adjustable rear sets or something?? At least you can still ride a cruiser when you feel better.

My knee has been like this for about 6 months now.

I've been seeing an Ortho.

I'll try the ice/heat treatment some more.
