Does $3,700 sound fair?

Looks like I'm going to be selling my 2009 sunbeam red 250r but wanted some feed back on how to price it.

Bike is in great shape. Never been downed, no real scratches scuffs of flaws, mechanically never had any problems and all service (minus oil changes) has been done at the dealer.

mods to include:
New tires, still got chicken strips almost entirely - $300
Jardine full titanium rt-5 carbon fiber system - $600
Cheap looking red heat shield (cause I burned my leg) - $30
valves adjusted (at shop) - $450
Integrated Sequential LED Tail light clear - $70
Adjustable brake light modulator - $20
Hot bodies under tail (original is uncut) -$260
Hot bodies wind screen dual radius smoke - $80
OEM rear seat cowl - $50
Shinto Weighted Bar Ends - $55
Shinto Grips - $40? dont remember
Shinto adjustable levers (both) - $140
Sportisi Headlamp Cover - $60
JLM Slim HID H7 8000k bulbs - $60
front LED blinkers - $40? dont remember
Swing arm spools - $20
New Battery - $50
Low Profile Rear Motorcycle Spool Stand - $40 (harbor freight quality )
failed rim tape, needs removed.

About $2325 in total, but we all know you dont get what you put into it. So figure $3000 for bike and mod at 70% off call it $3700. Does that sound like a fair price to everyone here?

Oh and it comes with all the stock parts that came off. . . rear seat, exhaust, grips, lever, lights, blinkers.

Parting it out the mods & putting the bike back to stock will net you the most money; you're really limiting your buyer base selling it as is. Maintenance doesn't count as mods: e.g. battery, valve adjustment, tires.

How many miles?

I'll give you 3.7K for the lazy boy chair.

I think 3k is fair if you put it back to stock.

Kbb tells me that bike should retail at about $2700

That's Retail, from a dealer.

Then they recommend adding 35% of added aftermarket mods. 40% for factory options

That's what I see for the value from kbb

9k miles.

Dont really want to put it back to stock, would have to leave the exhaust due to valves, grips are a pain to get off, thus the 70% off mods... save me the hassle save them the money.

You're right on tires, battery but figured they are things that the other bikes would need soon if they are about the same bikes/miles.

I am in not rush to get it out the door so waiting a bit is ok. I would like to keep it but as it is it blocks my garage so I have to move it to get other bike out and need to park them so close worried about scratching one parking them.

$2,700 kbb + (2325*.35) = ~$3,500 but I always found kbb was unreliable for bikes but that could just be the bikes I was looking at. KBB is usually close but always under list price especially at dealers. So maybe list it at 37 but plan on coming down a bit.

Alright, lets look at what you got here.

New tires, still got chicken strips almost entirely - Worthless - New tires don't add value, worn tires diminish value
Jardine full titanium rt-5 carbon fiber system - $400 to someone who actually wanted a Jardine system. Worth $0 to everyone else. Worth -$200 to people who hate loud exhausts
Cheap looking red heat shield (cause I burned my leg) - $0
valves adjusted (at shop) - $0 - That's called maintanence. Doing it doesn't increase the value of your bike. Not doing it diminishes it.
Integrated Sequential LED Tail light clear - $70 - to 19yr olds across the country. $0 to anyone else
Adjustable brake light modulator - $0 - Maybe more to someone who wanted that
Hot bodies under tail (original is uncut) -$0 - $50 maybe
Hot bodies wind screen dual radius smoke - $20 - is that stock size?
OEM rear seat cowl - $20
Shinto Weighted Bar Ends - $0
Shinto Grips - $10
Shinto adjustable levers (both) - $40
Sportisi Headlamp Cover - $20
JLM Slim HID H7 8000k bulbs - $0
front LED blinkers - $40 to 19yr olds - $0
Swing arm spools - $0
New Battery - $0
Low Profile Rear Motorcycle Spool Stand - (harbor freight quality) $0, ah one of those disposable ones eh?

Alright lets total it up!

So that brings us to about $660 total added to someone who ACTUALLY wanted all of these mods (do you have a twin?). All the way down to $-130 to someone like me who would prefer a stock bike.

My vote, put everything that you can back to stock and sell the extra parts. You'll get more money and have more potential buyers.

How many miles you got on it? If it was real low you might get what your asking but since you have a valve adjustment done, probably around $3000
