CHAT:Central Florida 250cc Sportbikes (Meetup.com)
We were starting to have a fair amount of chit-chat in the events on out Meetup Page, so I thought it would be nice to have a place for us to do exactly that
SO HERE IT IS! lol, now to the first order of business! anyone willing to throw in some money for some business cards we could hand out to other ninjette riders we see? i figure if we each throw in like $2 I could have a couple hundred made. I was thinking something like this; thoughts? |

I haven't done any of that, but I want to one day, but I will wait until I have time to replace the filter with pod style and just do it all at once. For now I am happy with the performance and styling. Give me a month though and that may change.

U takin the ninjette or cage? I had a food time today! Well I mean good but food works also. LoL I like the cards. I just found out about a ninjette in davenport. I'll try to recruit her tomorrow. Hey mat what are the chances we could get a word version of the cards? So I could print it out and give it to her? Cuz that card rocked.

Well in case you didn't read my latest post in my accident thread, you can read about it now.
Hopefully this means I'll be able to put the bike in the shop relatively soon and get a few issues taken care of. Not going to fix the plastics at this point, more concerned with the ongoing mechanical/electrical issues that seem to be growing. Once this is done I'll start coming out with you guys. |

As long as u r doing alright. We will be meeting at minimum a few times a month. If u see other 250s ninja or that Honda thing we criticized today, rightly so. Invite them. We want a big group. The Kawasaki dealership KMS (u love them) want to get pics of a 250 group!

Highly recommended to folks who are on the fence. Makes a great difference. Shimming the needles more so than the snorkle, but since that's so easy...

On meetup? It is in the app. So there is a new guy in the group that doesn't have a 250 anymore. Do we keep the non 250s? I am thinking of setting it up so not just anyone can join. I feel like the title is specific enough to keep it to 250s.
Thoughts?

I agree, it's a 250 group. If the big bikes feel that we don't belong with them, then we have every right to say they don't belong with us.

alright. I'll let him know. He can still hang with us at the Harley ride or stuff but they will not really fit in on rides if they don't have 250s
Also check out this YouTube video. Got my signals blinking. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYGcEmpisWA they tail light doesn't look as smooth as I thought it should. Would a different relay help that? Or does it look OK?

I was thinking about that spring. Would it be easier to turn if someone was sitting on the bike compressing the spring?

No. It is easier to turn with the back of the bike raised and the rear wheel free floating in the air.
