I need to check out the NJK suits listed above.
I got fat and cannot wear my Z custom leathers anymore (made in 1990,repaired twice and placed out of use in 2005), but that was a good suit as well. My pakistan one piece suit for cold weather allows me to gear up for the icon body armor for the track and street. The fieldsheer perforated allows more comfort on the hotter days and is more pliable of course with the spine protector already there. (right now, I would still prefer Z custom leathers if I was to spend the $, but there are a lot of other suits out there that I have not used.)

Love the AGV helmets for my fit/finish of different inserts to fit my fat arse head
My Sidi corsa airs rock for boots. Fully adjustable, just do not walk around too much in them on the streets. (Not too comfy with that but not meant to be)
Tried the AGV pro gloves: The seams rip too easily, so do not recommend those for the high price or safety

*** Had an accident in June which ended in knee surgery. Since then I will not ride without some form of knee protection. Either my Cortech pants with knee armor or my Thor knee/shin protectors. Think about it, the chances of your knees hitting the ground in an accident are pretty high, yet a lot of people neglect this part of their body when buying gear. A knee injury will sideline you for a long time while it heals and surgery and physical therapy are a lot more expensive than a set of knee guards for $50-90. Don't forget to protect those knees!
So what would you recommend for touring pants, say in cooler weather. I mostly tour, or at least ride like I'm touring, whenever I ride. I'm in Canada, have crossed it twice in the past 4 years, and wear only jeans and long johns. I wear a $400.00 Teknic jacket and $20.00 pants. So I need to fix that. But the choices are confusing. How about the A-10 Air Flo pants. Could I wear them all day for 10 days. I'm 200 pounds and have large legs. So those elastic bands above the knees look wrong for me. Hope you have found something to protect you. bill E bob

None? Oh, you should wear pants!! I decided, after much deliberation, to get the Decker leather pants, with armour. $251.

I only hope the size is near right. Coming from the US, motorcycle superstore, they should be here about the same time as good riding weather.

I dunno why or how, but you look like a hipster even when fully geared up! Most hipsters aren't into Zelda and Star wars, though (sub-culture; not pop-culture).

Hahah and I'm... actually ok with this. I get that a lot actually, especially when not geared up. I guess my awkwardness shows even through leathers.

New rider so I am in the process of still getting stuff before the MSF, but here's what I have/will have:

Scorpion EXO-500
Speed & Strength Seven Sins Textile Jacket
Spidi STR-1 Gloves
Fieldsheer Mercury 2.0 Pants
A* SMX-5 Boots

Still unsure if I'm going to go with the Sas-Tec back armor or if I should get a back protector that I wear underneath the jacket, suggestions?

Helmet- Shark RSI carbon
Spine protector - Knox Aegis
Jacket - Richa Ballistic (leather & textile)
Gloves- Dainese 4 stroke (2 pairs), A* Apex Drystar, RST slice (& a few others that aren't really used anymore)
Boots- Sidi B2 Goretex
Pants- Richa Viper, Duchinni Quantum
Thermals - Canterbury rugby thermals
Earplugs- Go travelzone/quietzone can't think of the name but they're reusable & adjustable. I really only wear them if I'm going to be going at a 'reasonable pace' or on long rides. 10 mins through traffic to work/the gym/the shops isn't really going to do much damage.
waterproofs - (well the Ballistic jacket is waterproof, as are the Quantum trousers, but I'm probably going to pick up a set of Richa rain warrior in the next couple of weeks)

That looks awesome. Very impressed.

I've been looking for a good setup for a Moto only closet/space. Need it as I have been getting more and more gear for different styles of riding.

Thanks @gwilo.

I used IKEA Gorm shelves (the deep ones) and some adjustable closest hanging bars.

As I used 1 shelf set that comes with 4 or 5 shelves and I only use 2 of them I picked up some 1 x 4" lumber at HD to make the next section and 2 x 4" to attach the racks to.

Does not show all gear, only for storing regular use gear.

Helmets: 2 Shoei RF1100s and an HJC CL16
Jackets: Alpinestars Indy, Joe Rocket Alter Ego 3.0, Dainese Tenporale D-Dry, Tourmaster Intake Air 2
Gloves: Rev'It Airvolution, Dianese full gauntlet (specific model unknown), Alpinestars SMX-2 Air Carbon, Cortech GX Air 2, Sedici winter gloves
Pants: 3 pairs Shift Sillouette jeans, Shift Torque jeans, Alpinestars Track Leather (zips to the Indy jacket)
Boots: Alpinestars SMX-Plus
Other: Dianese Knee V knee and shin armour, SAS-TEC back protector insert and A*s Bionic chest armour inserts (both are in the Indy jacket), 3 spare visors for the RF1100s (chrome, dark smoke, and an extra clear), and some other goodies.

I want to get a new jacket (Dainese or Spidi probably) and new boots (most likely SIDI).

Helmets: Shoei RF1100
Jackets: RS Taichi GMX Motion w/honeycomb chest protector
Gloves: Rev'It SLR gauntlets, looking to get a pair of Held Phantoms @ Scuderia West's open house this weekend
Boots: Dainese Axial Pro In's (scored awesome deal), previously steel toe construction boots
Pants: Heavy jeans. Looking for textile/kevlar reinforced jeans, knee, and hip armor @ MotoGP Laguna Seca
Ears: Etymotic mc3 & ER20s for ears.
Eyes: Smoked shield. Looking for some nice shades with good glare reduction and ballistic rating to stow in the trunk.

May start investing in some replacement armor from the TPro Forcefield line.
Does anybody know if the Forcefield pro pants offer any slide protection? If so, I'd wear that under jeans.
