Yeah they're awesome, bought my tires from them, and got it installed for free. They are my to go guys for tires, otherwise I believe installation is around $36 a tire, and 30min of your time.

Yep Montgomery Motors is awesome. They are a Suzuki dealership but they give great customer service to all bike riders. If I had to get work done at a dealership then it would be them.

My stator is coming in today so I'll (most likely) have my bike running tomorrow. If you guys don't mind it being later (after 330) like last time I'll come.

So I take it due to the lack of responses there won't be a ride tomorrow?

If there is someone text me or send me a PM (shows up in my email).

Just don't go a ridiculous amount over the 7500. 8000, even 8500 is fine IMO. Anything more than that is just pushing it. Are you going to do it yourself (you should)?

Bike up and running. Rode to work on Sat. Not many problems on the way to work. Cruising 6-8k RPM on h1/h2 was just fine. Once I got on Nimitz and dropped below 6k it felt like it wanted to die out, or at least hesitate. On the way back though, my velocity stacks sucked in some small debris and one of my float valves got stuck open and flooded a carb. Figured that out after I stalled in the middle lane and had to push it in the sidewalk (I was at the stop light right before the h1), and saw it pissing fuel. Couple if kicks to the carbs stopped it. I also suspect my plugs were one size too hot, so I got a fresh set of colder ones.

Still burning oil, but not as severe as it was before. Just comes out of the breather cover, instead of the exhaust as well. I suspect rings/cylinders, since I replace the valve guide seals. One day this thing'll be in great condition. Sadly that won't be til after I get my commuting bike and can completely tear the engine down and rebuild it.

I'll be getting a new (2012) bike in about a month. I'm still trying to decide what I want. At the moment I'm still trying to decide between a Hypermotard 796 or an 848 Corse. That's of course if I don't buy a newish used bike.

Yeah, I saw that one. Thanks. It's just a weird angle to show a bike. I'm sure there's some side damage. With my surgery on the 12th, it's been hard to save some $. I sell stuff on CL to make some $. I still don't have enough....save save save.

There have been plenty on CL that I would of bought. It's just a matter of having the $ to do so right now. Trust me...I'm not that picky. I would just like something that's a good starter bike. I don't mind scratches, I just don't want "scratches" to turn into gouges or cracks.

I might have my new bike by then

Also, I figured out why my bike sounded like an open header thumper and a grunty i4. One of the exhaust flanges came undone and exhaust was basically coming out of the exhaust port. SUPER loud. I thought it was detonation until I saw it.
