I've had this nice MIG welder for a few months, but haven't learned how to use it yet. I'd maybe like some pointers or lessons.

First thing I plan on doing is welding up my exhaust so I just have the headers, midpipe, and muffler. Right now I have headers, two reducers, midpipe, and muffler.

Second thing is welding a tail hoop to get rid of the stock tail section.

Eventually I want to do some frame modifications.

I don't really know anything about MIG or welding in general. My dad did the research and we got a Lincoln Electric 140HD. It's 120v electric and CO2. Don't have any in the tank though. I've been meaning to watch the video that came with it, but haven't gotten around to it because I didn't really *need* to weld anything.

First video made with the GoPro. Doesn't really show all the rainy-ness but a easy way to show friends back home that it isn't all sunny blue skies out here like they always think

I love your "cover" riding on the back

No crumpling yours up and sticking it in your cargo pocket, I never would with mine either as I had it shaped perfect. I eventually came up with a method I could fold it up and pocket it if I absolutely had to while still keeping it's perfect shape.

Can marine caps even be folded? Lol

Yenno, I didn't even think to try that either eventho I've seen you roll up like that several times already, noah. But then again, idk if I'd wanna ride w/ my PC back there flying down the freeway for 20somethinodd miles at 70mph instead of the on-post max posted speed limit of 25.

that one is a good general purpose/project welder. watch the DVD and do some research too. also, the CO2 is to clean the welds.

i have a nice hobart 120v MIG and little craftsmen 110v i am selling, and i am a fabricator by trade, comes with the territory of building cars, racecar prep, and so on...

i made my entire exhaust on my car, full 304 SS, vbanded 3"..my custom cooling pipe, intake manifold(now gone), engine mounts and more...

i use argon/O2 mix, cos well..CO2...that is silly.
