crappy ninja experience
A few months back I had to go to work on my ninja on a rainy day and I had to drop a deuce real bad, so bad i had to turn around to go home because no one likes to poop at work. On my way home I had forgot that the construction workers had dug up a pipe the day before turning the area i ride through into a mud pit from the rainwater. By the time I hit the mud spot I gunned the throttle to try and make it past the spot and my bike came to a abrupt halt nearly throwing me off. With my bike standing upright in the mud resting on the lower fairing i went inside and relieved myself. I got outside running late for work and my bike was stuck so i had a horrible time getting it out of the mud and had to lay it on its side because the center stand was up on a tree root.
After work I realized i had to wash off all the mud from my bike and the nearest spray wash was out of service so i rode in the rain 3 miles or so to the one on the edge of town and sprayed the mud off the fairings etc being careful not to get close to the seals when i noticed a 5 foot tree root was hanging off the bottom of the bike and if a car had ran it over it probably would be the end of me. at the end of the day i realized it could have been crappier but the moral of the story is to always poop before you ride! |

There is a point to all this, a good point. Always go before you go.

What's a negative local? Also, what do you mean by "blend in?" And is that a blanket statement about all South Carolinians? I've never had any trouble blending in anywhere I've lived, and I've lived in many parts of the country. Usually one's trouble blending in probably says more about oneself than it does about the local population.

blanket statement
"blanket statement" stop listening to talk radio it makes you sound like a douche. Its a free country I don't need anyone's approval for anything. And if i offended you I must be doing something right because you deserve to be offended.
And on a side note real bbq sauce is red. look the sc state bird |

Hmmm I feel a lock and temp suspension coming on. That's not the sort of attitude you should bring to this forum. That type of post is what most of left behind on other forums. I advise you to either delete it or apologize.
Here on ninjette.org, we try to get along with everyone and try to avoid offending someone as NO ONE DESERVES TO BE OFFENDED!!! This is a site of friends and comrades of the ninjette world and welcome to all past, present and future ninjette riders. The only thing we ask is to keep things calm, don't attack anyone, watch the language, and refrain from calling people names. There's a list of forum rules that I'm sure alex will refer you to. But those will help keep you out of trouble and help you to make friends here. |

Hey adam I feel your post relevant. Maybe following post could be a bit rude....maybe tongue in cheek humor. Look forward to your posts in the future. I will further add to your pooping post. I NEVER travel without toilet paper on the bike.
I am not ashamed to poop at work, in the woods or out of a tree if the need arises. In fact I try to be the loudest crapper in the mens bathroom if its busy. I think its funny...but thats just me. Then I just walk out and act like it wasn't me. While washing my hands I may comment...you hear that nasty guy? geez People take life too seriously, everybody poops. Let er rip.

So, if you poop away from home, do you write a travel log? At any rate, here is the most compelling reason to take care of business at home:
Adam, hope you stick around. A good sense of humor is a valuable thing.

fitting in
Too many people take unimportant things too seriously. I have lived all over usa as well and while I may not always blend in its probably because D0uches are everywhere not just USA or sOUTH cAROLINA. that is why they blend in so effortlessly. The locals also do not like humor because SC is usually the butt of the joke. Does not help that the people always set themselves up for a punchline either.

poopy
If you leave your crap at home its also improves your power to weight ratio. Something to think about if you are a serious weight weenie, but if your a hardcore weight weenie your dumps are probably made of carbon fiber and titanium.
