Looking for new tires

I need to purchase a new set of tires for my ‘06 250.
Any suggestions on who to buy from? And should I have them installed or is it relatively easy to install? I can work on my own bike but if installing tires are a pain in the ass I’ll leave it to the other guys lol. Thanks!

Edit: also if anyone has any brand and style recommendations let me know! I ride a lot of miles every summer. Matter of fact as soon as it gets to 45-50 degrees she becomes my main method of transport. Sometimes rain or shine! @Ram Jet

A BIG C-clamp to break-off bead, BIG tyre-levers and soapy water are all you need to change tyres. I use just 2 levers, some people find 3 is easier. Look up YouTube videos on popping bead and using levers. Not that difficult, just be intentional about each movement.

I've had good times with these tyres on my '02:

A lot more responsive and fun compared to super-heavy and tall 90-series tyres fitted by PO.

Thank you! Isn’t YouTube great! I’ve literally worked on every part of my bike. Cosmetically anyway. And the bike I had before gave me a good run messing with the motor and such. Not too many things I won’t do. I appreciate the input and I was looking at those very same Shinko’s! Well priced and great reviews! Thanks!

Bead breaking

I have found that using the 2x4 bead breaker works great and is way easier than clamps. You get leverage and can really be careful with things. Here is a pic that I used when building mine. It’s less than 20 bucks to make and can just hang in the corner until you need it again.
