09 ninja tachometer

hey guys, ive been in the break-in process the past week for my new bike. just wondering to make sure, are all the tachometers in miles or is it possible that mine could be in km's? i dont want to rev it up too soon

do you mean speedometer? tachs measure the RPM of the engine.

it also depends where "town" is.

All tachs are in x1,000 rpms. aka 10 = 10,000rpms. I think that answers your question. As far as break in period I would read up a bit on break in a motorcycle and form your own opinion.

haha sorry, its a bit late for me, i just wanted to make sure that the 1600 that shows up on my odometer is in miles. otherwise i kinda screwed myself over with the whole "break-in" procedure

...and again, it would depend on where "town" is that you've indicated in your location information. might want to change that so people that want to help you could can better do so in the future.
