DIY oil pressure light

I've got a vapor trail tech digital guage. Wondering how I could make an oil pressure light, cause I don't have one atm. Think I could just take the OPS light off the stock cluster with the wire and connector and cut off all the other wires, would that work?

Cool

The pressure sensor is a regular on-off switch that closes the circuit of the lamp when the pressure of oil drops and keeps it open when sensing the correct pressure.

Does the new gauge have a light for that?

According to the wiring diagram, the oil pressure light (and other gauges and neutral light) get power from the brown/blue wire. It grounds via the blue/red wire (be careful, the brake light is also blue/red, and the dash lights are on red/blue) through the oil pressure sensor.

Just use any 12v light between brown/blue and blue/red from the factory harness.
