Yep, there are reasons why some of us don't have kids.

Lol at that, but there is a good side and a bad side of having a kid.

Yup there is a good side... I have nieces and nephews!
And a bad side, their parents don't have the extra money I can come up with

Teachers are awesome people! They don't get near the credit they deserve.

Honestly I cannot see the allure of having children. Given, I'm 24 --- but I've watched all of my friends get tied down with women, families.. etc.

Even if money wasn't the issue, the time investment involved with children sounds sickening. Not to mention being hitched to one woman, I have no idea what kind of sane man would honestly opt for that in life.

It's sad to watch my friends slave away to support their family, working all the time, commitments at home, soccer practice, day care, school, and not to mention the added stress of the holidays with all that they entail, presents, pretending to be santa (lol) --- honestly -- can anyone post a valid argument FOR having children? "They add to the quality of life."

Excuse me while I ride my motorcycle recklessly, get drunk/high whenever I please, live life on my own terms, play with my toys, drive my racecar, shoot my guns, buy whatever I want, work whatever job I feel like, easily afford my bills and have lots of money left over -- not to mention hollering at any pretty girlie I please and have promiscuous sex with whomever, whenever.

Companionship? I have a cat whom I love very much and is currently purring away on my lap. I love my [single] life.

EDIT -- couldn't make it through the video, too busy changing the grips on my glock and wondering which one feels the nicest in my hand, whilst smoking a cigarette (in the house, lol), having a cold beer, keeping an eye on the steaks on the grill, trying to pick which girl I'd like to call over and eat with etc, building a new fuel map for my car, trying to pick the best motorcycle tire, sending an email to repair department to check the status of my pocket knife and headphones, picking a movie to watch for later if I can't sleep, listening to loud angry music and telling my cat to stop climbing up the window screen. Children?! A cat is enough for me..

True story, kids are overrated. If people didn't feel obligated to have them, there wouldn't be so many ****** parents; and thusly, not so many ****** kids

The world is already overpopulated. Finding a decent-paying job is hard enough when you're young, the school system here sucks unless you fork over 15k/yr for private school, healthcare is in the trash, economy isn't the best, and there are already so many morons breathing my air that merely driving to the store for a snack is practically a suicide mission.

Bringing a child into this world honestly sounds like a godless act, downright selfish even -- But I have a lot of respect for those that do, and I sincerely hope that they father the seeds that will radically change the direction that this world of overconsumption and gluttony is moving in.

I mean absolutely zero disrespect to the fathers/mothers of children in this day and age -- and I'm desperately trying to believe that there is something else worth living for than the guiltless pursuit of self-gratification and personal spiritual fulfillment that drives my every action.

No kids for me, considering a vasectomy if I can confirm that the operation won't fukk my hormone balance and hurt my weightlifting gains and testosterone levels.

Feels so good to be me -- hopefully someone with kids can chime in and say the same. Whatever path an individual chooses in life, I hope that they can make it work for them.

Hmmmm, what should I do tomorrow? The answer seems to be the same as any day.... Make sure I have enough $ in my wallet, and do w/e the fukk I feel like There's a new waitress at that cool restaurant I eat at after I lift weights and get all pumped up and stomp around like I own the place.

Feels great to be 24, I'm right there with you. Except, no need to even consider a vasectomy at this point. Just put the jacket on your boy before he goes out to play
