Modify My Damper Rods for GVEs

I'm in the process of rebuilding the forks on my EX250F and I am toying with the idea of installing gold valve emulators; however, I don't have access to a machine shop and lack the expertise needed to make the necessary modifications to the damper rods.

I'm wondering if anyone here has experience doing this and would be willing to do this for me.

I just used centrepunch and hand-held drill to do mine.

Well.. I'll be sure to take photos when i install on my pregen next. Here's pic of making my own banjo-bolt since nobody had one in stock day before race. Fork damping rod was so much easier!

When I did mine I found out that a step drill bit worked the best.
