Lmfao. That was quite an entertaining video.

I didn't really get the whole ear plugs thing until I rode my bike for 3-4 hours or so in a fairly "spirited" manner and discovered my ears were a bit sore afterwards.

I decided not to go past 3rd gear or so to stay under a relatively sane speed and was basically topping it out the whole time. That engine noise hits you after a while.

Definitely gonna be picking up a pair.

Just because you guys are upside down doesn't mean you have to get all confused.....

It's wind noise that really gets to your ears, you can't hear most of the damaging frequencies.

I have a chin guard on my helmet that stops the gap between your neck and helmet, without this installed my helmet is significantly louder.

It's never really been a problem for me, my helmet is marketed as being a sport / touring helmet and as such does a good job at cutting noise.

For a moment.. as you were explaining the accident before you mentioned the guy who said he popped the key in your pocket I thought this might be a horror story about how a key somehow got lodged in your skin or something after the crash heh.

I really do need to pick up some ear plugs. I was thinking about getting some from SureFire. Like you mentioned about the ones you have I like that they have the filter that lets you hear lower level noises like conversations and ambient noise but block out noises that could damage hearing.

Kind of a coincidence finding your post here...watched a video of yours for the first time yesterday.(Was watching the Baron's videos and got to one of yours somehow) It was the valentines day one and it was super funny so had to sub.

That would have been a much better story I think, haha. Thanks for the sub

Those SureFire earplugs look pretty good.
