How can I get these handlebars!???

hello everyone ! maybe you've seen me at the new member area, I am doing my 500cc ninja 250 swap...

I have a 2008 ninja 250
and instead of an angled handlebar I was wondering if I can get something like this on there? I want something more straight .

https://www.motosport.com/product/?a...segment=badger

pros and cons if this can be done?

if not what would you suggest as a better upgrade for the handlebars.. I feel like its to uncomfortable at times... I don't know.

This ought to get you started:

https://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=75165

It looks as if, at minimum, you'll need to drill a couple of holes in your upper triple. You need a place to mount the riser blocks.

Define "more straight." Do you mean less pulled back when viewed from above, or more horizontal when viewed from the front?

There's also rise and forward/aft placement to consider. The grips aren't going to wind up where they are now. Don't be surprised if you need a longer front brake line and longer cables for the clutch and throttle.

There may be clearance issues with the front fairing/windscreen.

Going to a separate handlebar will raise your hands quite a bit and make an already-upright bike even moreso. This is because the riser blocks will raise the bar, and the bar itself will also add some rise. You may also find that the bar isn't angled the way you like anyway. Depends on the bar you choose, of course.

Another option is Apex clip-ons. These are costly but super-adjustable to suit your preferences.

I like clip-on bars: https://www.ebay.com/itm/183637480298

I find them most comfortable about 1" above seat height.

for this season ill be doing alot of mountain riding and minimum offroad so i like the fel of the handlbars on the grom and supermotos idk maybe because i learned from how to ride on them first when i was in vietnam lol, but anyways the handlebars on the grom are more straight as where the ninja handlebars are inverted at an angle, i find sometimes thats uncomfortable for my long rides.

No problem. They've got tonne of holes already. Make sure outside edges all around are smooth of nicks; that's where cracks starts.

So by straighter, you mean bars going more sideways and bent upwards instead of downwards?

BINGO LIKE THOSE!!!!
A buddy of mine is running a more sideways one, and its very comfortable for my shoulders "i have a shoulder impingement syndrome" at a certain amount of time or certain pressure point my shoulder gets unbearably painful so these bars would help.

and for sure ill definitely do it professionally!

Yeah, easy to find. I like this design best:

- one-piece design, so both bores are in-line and concenctric
- 4 bolts clamps everything together
- 4 bolts through triple-clamp for more secure connection rather than just 2
- fewer bolts, you can check torque on triple-clamp bolts without removing handlebar
