Looking for riding buddies.

Well guess who just landed. I've been riding a few weeks now. Love it, all ready wrecked it and now I'm fixing it. I have figured out riding solo kinda sux. Where my fellow Floridians, or good neighbor Alabamians ( or whatever the hell you are called).

Welcome !!!

Do not ride in groups ......... yet.
It is safer to ride alone, which is not that bad if you are paying attention to the bike and your reactions.

Very good advice. I've ridden since 1978, and often prefer solo rides to riding with even one other rider.

And please pay attention to all the things that are trying to harm you, and stay in control so that when they do try, you can avoid trouble.

And... it's good to meet you, Jack!

Thanx for the advice. I'm not necessarily looking for a group. Just one or two riding buddies. Someone I can hit there kill switch at red lights. Someone that will say " sah dude " when I say it to them. Lol all BS aside I'm just new to the area. I know zero good folks.

Also not sure if I can post this here. But I am a mechanic, a professional technician not shade tree in my back yard. If you got something broken I can mend your wounds. I've been working on small engines i.e. bikes, atv's etc. For 15 years now.As of now I work for the man doing truck and heavy equipment Repair. I am currently in the process of starting my own bike Repair and customs business. I've already acquired a healthy investor. Now I need the clientele. And hey since we are one big happy family here you are all due discount prices. Serving north west florida southern Alabama and Georgia. If you need some work done pm me here and we will work out the details. Get schiffty

Welcome, here are just a few things to think about,

1.Get trained and licensed MSF Courses

2.ALWAYS Wear protective gear -- ATGATT All The Gear, All The Time -- including a helmet manufactured to the standards set by a government agency.

3.ALWAYS Ride unimpaired by alcohol or other drugs

4.ALWAYS Ride within your own skill limits and road conditions.

5.Be a lifelong learner by taking refresher rider courses, and advanced rider course A.R.C.

A.T.G.A.T.T. so I may ride another day.

There are zillions of places. To start, you can narrow it down by deciding if you want it for touring, the track, or something between, and if you want fabric or leather.

For a trial fee of $39, you can test a suit before buying:
