Spotting - Ninja Sightings

Spotted a 2012 black SE Ninja 250r with a red Ninja 650r driving in front of me on Fremont/Broadway/Del Monte in Seaside/Monterey, CA heading onto the Presidio. The Ninja 650r was carrying an oil pan on the back.

Spotted three Ninja 250's in a week.
Last Saturday I was driving my truck and saw a dark blue newgen leading a light blue pregen down Valley Mills Dr. Tried to catch up, but they vanished.

Today I saw a black newgen with red wheels, tall black windscreen, fender delete, and had an exhaust that really caught my eye. It appeared to have a Two Brothers muffler but it wasn't mounted in the typical spot. Basically where the pipe comes out from behind the fairing is where the muffler was mounted, coming out at an agle, on its side (instead of right side up). That's what I saw at a glance... I was also in my truck so I wasn't able to catch the helmet-less rider.

On another note a guy I work with just bought his first bike, 09 blue Ninjette. Hopefully he'll log on and join us.

Also spotted a black CBR250 across the road the other day on the way to work. Guy was sporting saddle bags.

In Inwood Manhattan NYC: the same white 300 headed southbound on Broadway. For the past 3 days I keep seeing you as I pull out of my Sanitation garage at 6:20 am. It's gotta be someone from here. Anyone???

Saw a black J-bike one on the Highway 34 bypass yesterday a little before 4PM. Turned out in the little industrial park so I think he/she works there. The exhaust was chrome and OEM so it was 2008 or 2009.

Spotted a green 250 leaving Seabreeze High School. Not sure if it was a girl but they were riding a girl's bike so..........

Just got done with Calaveras rd. we were on a 2009 Blk and 2009 red 250s

Saw going the other way a green 300 ahead of a pair of bikes one of which was a 2008 green 250.

This morning @ 7am I-80 westbound Sacramento, Red New Gen exchanged waves he/she turned of I-5/99 north. 7:30am what I believe to be an older Kawi ninja 600 or 750?? Around Vacaville on I-80...Waved and proceeded to fly in and out of traffic.

Saw a green new-gen at around 1:30 pm going North on the 2 fwy, just passing Holly Rd. in Glendale, CA. Also saw another 2012 green new-gen parked at the PCC campus parking lot.

Aroind 1pm Spotted a blue w/ flames old gen with main fairing removed in Sacramento, Madison and I-80 and at the next light what looked like a new silver 250 @ Hillsdale and Mad...I was in my cage.

Spotted a 2010 SE (tribal) going South on San Fernando Rd. in Burbank today around 1:30 today. Finally gave me a chance to hear a stock exhaust in person. Man, they are quiet MFers!

Maybe a week ago, Saw someone on the long island expressway going westbound around exit 61 in the hov lane, all hunched over likely freezing his ass off lol. I rolled down my window and gave him a thumbs up after I passed but he either didn't see or was too cold or freaked out by the ass behind him in the white van riding his ass to wave back. Or he was disgusted that I was giving him a thumbs up from a car lol

Black current gen 250 in the Student Center Parking Structure at UCI today. There was a black/white/red Shoei helmet hanging off one of the handlebars.

Maybe the same one I saw today in lot 12B in front of physical science building. Helmet was in shoei bag hanging off back.

Spotted this white 300 outside Frys electronics yesterday afternoon.

Yesterday morning, I saw the same black ninja that was in the parking lot on the 12th, while driving on the 405 south. The rider was wearing the Shoei helmet that was on his handlebars in the lot. He exited the 405 south just before it splits off to the 55 and 73.

Saw a black 2012 SE parked outside an apartment complex on the northwest corner of Hawthorne and 190th (in Redondo Beach/Torrance) a couple days ago.

Yesterday afternoon I Spotted around a dozen ninjette's at and around the berkley campus as well as a green NewGen doing laps on redwood and a green pregen parked at the top of redwood getting ready to do laps.

I saw a blue pregen parked on Ave 26. and Barraca(?) St. in Los Angeles, CA Yesterday around 2:30 pm

This would probably work better if it was separated by region.

Only other 250 I've seen on a regular basis is a black/white one in the Pacoima/Arleta area being ridden by a female. Once I did see a '12 Green 250 in my area, but I wasn't on the lilninja.

Saw a guy riding two-up on a black new-gen on Monday on Colorado Blvd. Just a few hundred yards from Colorado St. bridge (suicide bridge) Pasadena, CA.
And just today saw another black new-gen going North on Verdugo Blvd. Just under the 134 Fwy in Glendale, CA.

Spotted a red newgen making a left turn into the Americana parking structure in Glendale,CA today about 20 minutes ago. I could be wrong but it looked like he was "squiding" it with just a t-shirt. Lol.

So, again, the black ninja with the red/white/black Shoei helmet, in UCI's student center parking structure.
Only now it's missing it's headlight assembly, gauge clusters, cowling, and both fairings. Wtf? I'd say I hope the rider is ok, but he/she must be up and about if they're still riding it to school in that state.

Saw an orange/yellow(?) new-gen going East on Glenoaks Blvd, Glendale/Burbank today just before 8:30 pm today. I was surprized at how far away I could hear it's after market exhaust (at least 4/5 blocks).

Saw a new-gen today (2/24) on Linda Vista, Pasadena (right by the rose bowl) as I was bicycling my way home.
