The best and worse of Halloween

So what memories do you have of Halloween? Favorite costumes? Favorite candies? Worst trick-or-treat "candy"? Most memorable events?

When I was a kid, I did the army soldier, ninja, and a few others I have no memory of, but the one I do remember is getting to dress up as a Storm Trooper from Star Wars. I had the white mask and vinyl 1-pc painted to look like the outfit. Those were good times.

The two types of treats I hated were candy corn and old apples. I can't believe some people would give out old apples. I once got 10 pennies too. How strange is that?

Worst thing to ever happen was when we were trick-or-treating. All of us kids and the oldest (my sister) was around 12. We had some teenagers run up and steal my sister's bag. What a bunch of a-holes. They're probably in prison now tho .

i never got to go trick or treating as a kid, my parents believed it was the devils worshipping day so they didn't want us to go out and join the other devils. lol pretty sad not having to be able to do that as a kid.

however, they would let us dress up at school, and I always remember being a witch cuz my parents didn't want to spend money on a new costume every year, so for like 6 years straight i was a witch.
