Black seat cowl on 2009 SE

I am just wondering if anyone has seen a black cowl on a 2009 special edition. i am thinking of getting a black one, just having a hard time picturing it and if it would look stupid or not.

i agree! i think it looks awesome. all the blacks from 08 09 10 match up right?

Nope. I am going of Australia here and we tend to have the opposite of you guys for a givern time, for eg, while you guys had the green we had the red, while you guys got the black and red SE we have the green one that looks like a pregen.

The 08 we had was ebony black, then our 2009 was diablo (metallic) then our 2010 are ebony again.

i doubt it cause the black on your bike is a nothing but a sticker

hmmm i thought i touched the black on an SE here last summer. Maybe it was just a sucky paint job and i could feel the line and mistook it for a sticker edge.

Potentially you could hunt for the paint match and repaint the cowl, but that's a bit o' hassle.
Does look sharp though!
