Ok stupid windscreen question.

Here's a stupid question. I found a green Zero Gravity windscreen for $25. It's off of a 2008 Ninja 650R. Looking at it the front fairing looks the same as the 2008-2010 Ninja 250R fairing, and the screws look to be in the same places on both. Will this windscreen fit my bike or am I going to need to drill some more holes in the windscreen?

Looking at the parts fiches online, the windscreen shapes seem fairly different. But for $25 might be worth a try.

If the one from the 650 does not fit then you may have to buy one made for the 250 and paint it grren to match.

You can always take your windscreen off your bike and compare it with the other one and then make your decision unless your buying it off of ebay and it will be shipped to you. In that case if you don't want it you can always sell it again. Just checked the ZG website and you can get a double bubble in green (13) but for $89.95.

from what i know, zg sells wind screens for the 250 and 650 as two separate items, so i would assume theyre different. Wouldn't say completley different but i'm sure theyre not 100% identical. You can always find a green one for the 250 for more money, but i agree that for $25 it might be worth a shot.

If anything I could sell it on craigslist for what I paid for it or more if it doesn't fit.
