Be squeezin' in da juice of dem 6 lemins
Add da cuppa sugar
Dump dat hole bottle of vodka en'
Wrap da jug entirely with a towel and shake and shake and shake and shake (be makin' sure you be puttin' da lid back on first ya see..... )
You be dun shakin' when da towel dun when en freezed to the jug

Servin':

Be dispensin' from da spout at da bottem of dat der jug

Here is my buddy's recipe for a Long Island Iced Tea:

Tony's "Rock" Island Iced Tea

I've left it fairly generic for everyone's personal preferences on alcohol brands

A pinch of margarita salt

1 shot gin

1 shot rum (RUM, not spiced rum)

1 shot vodka

1/2 shot amaretto

sweet & sour filler

splash of pepsi for tea color


Next time you're in the mood for a L.I.I.T., try this one out!

easy Cream Cheese Pastries

2 packages pillsbury croissants

1 cheesecake mix (you won't need the graham cracker crust)

your choice of pie filling or fruit filling, if desired

your choice of frosting or icing, if desired


Using a rolling pin, or your hands, flatten out 1 package of the croissant dough and lay it on a cookie sheet. Make up the cheesecake mix as directed on the package, and spread it over the croissant dough, making sure to leave a little room around the edges,also add any filling you're using at this time. Now flatten out the other package of croissant dough and lay it on top, pressing the edges together. Bake as directed on the dough package, although you may want to let it bake just a bit longer to ensure everything is evenly done. Let cool for about 10 minutes, then top with frosting or icing , if desired. Cut up into desired number of pastries and package accordingly.

I use Ziploc bags, and either freeze or refrigerate these. Happy new year all!

Boil out squirrel add rice, cut heat, cook rice... Eat it

We sometimes add dove, wood duck, deer, sausage, or any tasty hunt we get... It's good so hush... Don't forget to salt an pepper, maybe a bit of Cajun season, an don't forget to keep the Texas Pete handy

Here is my take on chicken noodle soup:

Josh's Chicken Noodle Soup

6 to 8 cups chicken stock

1 to 2 cups of your chosen noodle, I use egg noodles

2 to 3 cooked chicken breasts, diced into small pieces
( I prefer to cook them, then marinate them in the fridge with the stock overnight)

1/2 to 1 cup instant rice, as the noodles are nearly done

1 to 2 cups of your chosen vegetable, I use corn

1 tablespoon black pepper

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder
(Or, 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic)


You can modify this recipe to suite your needs/preferences. I find adding the rice gives this a little more substance than just the noodles alone. I usually make this on a stovetop rather than a crockpot, because I don't want the noodles mushy, but that's me...

I figured it was, but I wasn't 100% sure... There are quite a few recipes on the previous pages which even a novice can handle, try a couple you might surprise yourself!

Easy Cheesy Snack Rolls

1 package 6 inch flour tortillas

1 package string cheese

1 package pepper jack slices
(or slice a small block yourself)


Wrap a slice of pepper jack around a stick of string cheese, then wrap them in a tortilla. Now from here, you can either pan fry these in a little oil, rotating them with tongs until the tortilla is golden on all sides(put the wrapped edge down first and let the melting cheese seal it), or use a couple toothpicks to hold them together, and fry them in a fryer. You can either slice these into pieces and stick toothpicks in them, or leave them whole.

A friend of mine came up with this, and it's really good! The prep work's a bit complicated for just breakfast, but these are worth it!

"Loaded" Pancakes


2 cups prepared pancake mix
(if you make yours from scratch, more power to you, but I'm lazy when it comes to pancakes)

1/2 cup cooked instant oatmeal
(I use a little extra water to slightly thin it out a bit)

2 to 3 strips bacon, cooked and diced

1 to 2 breakfast sausage links, cooked and diced



Mix the oatmeal with the pancake mix and pour into your skillet or griddle. Add in some of the bacon and sausage, then flip it. Serve with your desired topping.

These are awesome, and if you want to save a little time, you can cook the bacon and sausage the day before and refrigerate it. The oatmeal gives them a little more substance so they stick with you a little longer, and the meats, besides being delicious() are a great addition and help make these even more filling.

@"Jonathan" chicken

put some flour, some bread crumbs, garlic, a bit of ginger some salt and peper and a bit of paprika together in a bowl. wash and trim a lean chicken breast. dice the chicken breast into inch cubes. coat the cubes in the flour mix. fry them on med-high where the oil is bubbling a bit (375F they tell me). turn the pieces as they brown until they are evenly browned on all sides. test a piece by cutting it down the middle to make sure you're not crazy somehow. put the chicken on some paper towels off to the side. turn the heat to low, get rid of most of the oil. throw in a good amount of soy sauce, lots of garlic, some ginger, cayanne to taste, maybe a few slivers of onion, lots of sugar, a few peppers if you have them. if you want to make it "orange" chicken, throw in orange squeezed juice and some orange shavings from a nice clean orange. stir it all up. mix some corn starch or flour into some water. now take the sauce off the heat for a minute while you add the flour water. mix vigorously and then put it back on the heat and keep mixing until it reduces into a nice thick sauce. put the chicken back in and turn the heat up just a bit while you mix everything around until the chicken is fully coated. then remove the chicken (nobody likes eating a big pepper or orange so i remove that crap and leave just the sauced chicken) you can add vinegar and honey to the sauce to make it taste more like the kind of orange chicken you would get at panda express

takes about 10 minutes to prep, around 30 minutes to cook
