Yup, it also has a built in key to start it (as opposed to a pushbutton) that unlocks when it senses the fob. I like it because turning a key just seems so much more natural to me.

My grandpa told me to to have some fun and bury my right foot!! so we had a little fun on the entrance ramp to the freeway

My grandpa is awesome.

Sounds like an awesome guy. And you are right, it is amazing to have the power available to you, especially with the recaro racing seats since they grip your body like a glove. The only downside is that it ruins just about every other car for you, I'm so used to it now that I find myself in other cars with the pedal all the way to the floor thinking that its broken I have found though that whenever I let someone else drive it, they are always scared to use the power. I'm always having to convince them to hit it hard. Not that its much of an issue since I have the 6 speed manual and apparently no one knows how to drive with a stick anymore, so most people just like to ride.

Everyone should learn to drive stick. It's such a shame that so many people don't know how. You're so much more connected with the car when you're in charge of the clutch, and that demands a level of attention while driving that people don't have when they're on the cell phone

All my coworkers look at me like I'm crazy when I told them that I specifically requested manual transmission in my new Corolla that I picked up in December.

Same with the dealerships when my mom was looking for a car!! They thought we were strange for wanting a car with a manual transmission.

We waited for a car to be shipped to us with a manual transmission!! it's ridiculous! They don't even keep manuals in stock! I learned to drive a manual within a month of getting my temps because the car that was available for me to drive was a stick. Right now, of the 3 cars my parents own, only 1 shifts for you. My friends in High School were all impressed that both my sister and I drove stick. I had to help teach a friend how to drive it because he wanted a small truck, and his options were limited because he didn't know how to drive a stick. Now he has a manual truck

Its getting bad, I was almost in shock when I found out that 80% of V-series come in automatic. I've always had at least one manual though, even when I had my Tacoma it was a manual. When I bought this car I called Cadillac directly and said I wanted a black V-series coupe with a manual, they said there was one in the state of Connecticut, so I bought it. I'm at the point now where I will only drive it in competitive mode because it completely cuts out the assists, so steering and shifting is a beautiful feeling where you have complete control of the car.

Its funny though because if you go to any other part of the world like the UK, everyone drives a stick. Even the minivans we used to rent for the submarine when we hit ports were manual, which is weird when you have to use your left hand to shift.

I remember when I first learned, I loved it. Unfortunately I never learned how to drive on hills until I spent 2 1/2 hours in stop/go bumper to bumper traffic in NY trying to get over the GW bridge which was a nightmare, but since then I've been a pro

it is really weird shifting with your left hand. I drove a 60's mini cooper as well. Felt really weird. I assumed the shifting pattern would be mirrored as well, but it was the same pattern, only I was sitting on the other side...

Great looking Caddy! I also had a '08 tC. This is what I had prior to the beast now.

That, my friend, would be about ballpark as well for me. It's like owning a Mack Truck that handles like an M3.

I bought this from one of my soldiers when i was still enlisted in the military. Still drive it everyday albeit only 1 mile a day.

1997 Eagle Talon TSi

Bought this for the old lady a year and some change ago. She got tired of switching between my Talon and my MR2. I traded in my MR2 ( got an awesome deal).

edit: I see a lot of skylines out here on the east coast. Mostly 33s (yes) and 35s. As well, i know where theres a 32 parked at all the time and its almost guaranteed that its there everyday.

Uhhh... This is one of the most curious cars made in the last few years. Almost a decade now, but it remains curious.

Why make it so... flashy? There is usually something nice in everything, and that nice thing is what should be emphasized.

The Scion community is known for going crazy on their beloved cars, especially those who own a 1st gen xB. We trick em out like nobodys business. If you own an all stock xB, then you have no care in the world to be apart of the Scion community. It's like a badge of honor...

I see.
Why don't you guys try something original since your cars are very different? See my comment above about what is bad with current setup, and please do not consider it an insult.
The first idea that comes to mind is 1920s-30s cars. Boxy look, painted black, with white tyres, steel rims and a spare tyre on the side or the back? Normal glass, no neon, maybe curtains. Maybe even removal of stock lights and installing 2 chromed round external ones. Increased side skirts of course. A hat in the back above the trunk is a must.
Second idea is well, a cardboard box. The car is a box, so not much work here except paint and maybe some vinyls that contribute to an ilussion.
Third is an ice cream van.
I don't have any more at the moment but I'm positive there are hundreds that don't involve neon, low profile tyres, leds and shiny rims. Too much of that stuff ruins anything.

Good analogy.

I, for one, don't like how they look, but what looks good and what doesn't is completely subjective obviously. What matters is it looks like you've put some good time into the car and you enjoy it so

Ohhh okay, just the way you wrote it.

Scions were always like that tho...like it was mentioned it is scions culture.

just like teenagers who are uneducated about cars put a loud ass exhaust and big ass body kit on something with no power... ex: civic

Its all a matter of opinion. Scion's love to customize our vehicles in a tuner-style. Upgrades to make it look and sound faster are normal. Although, its not very possible to increase the HP on the box.
