E-Z Up Sierra II™ Canopy for $50

Not sure where best to put this, but I figured it'll be good here, since they're useful at the track.

Not a bad deal at all! +Tax of course, since I'm pretty sure every state in the US has a K-Mart.

Most of the k marts are closed down here in Texas. There are a few still standing though.

the metal is tin-can thin and mine broke in the wind of the desert at chuckwalla after about an hour. threw it in the trash. would be great if there was no wind, though. edit: i think the one i bought was slightly different.

Those also have the angled legs, so it's not as easy to put them side by side if desired. fwiw

No. This is the 64 sq ft model. Doesn't really provide any usable shade since the legs cant in.

Best money is to get the slightly more expensive 100 sq ft model.

A big note on these canopies is to properly tie them down in any wind (two directions at each leg). They are notorious for breaking in the center of the expanding sections right at the cross points (hole drilled for the fitting).

Odd cuz I've owned one for 5 yrs before it caved in during a sand storm (winds were 35-50mph). Still it's good to have for use around the house if need be and on non-windy trackdays.
