Hugger $3, about $50 for shipping and handling, and wait until the package clears customs and arrives to your door. And all that assuming that you are dealing with honest people in India or Indonesia. Typical case of the broth being more expensive than the meatballs.
Anyway, this is a recurrent theme so it would be a good idea to read this recent thread: http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=76509 Here is the link to the Yamaha Byson hugger installed on the Ninja 250R: http://bennythegreat.wordpress.com/2...-di-ninja-250/ Last futzed with by JBedney; July 21st, 2011 at 03:05 PM. |

I got the best looking hugger for the 250r, it comes from a guy that I found on this site, Scott. But you can get him at e-bay. He, every so often sells his huggers, I paid $ 135.00. He had two styles and I think he can paint them. No mods just bolt on to the chain guard. Just do a search for huggers on this site or on e-bay. You won' regret it.http://cgi.ebay.com/Rear-tire-hugger...item3a682f9bd6

No, I haven't got that hugger yet, but I just learned that the Yamaha FZ16 is being sold in Mexico and Argentina, much closer to the US than the asian countries.
Here is the part number: 21C-F1650-00 Rear fender (Guardabarros trasero) |

From the engineering stand point, I think the eDrive (HLD) hugger is the best designed hugger to date. At $123.40 shipped to the US and made in ABS plastic it's an strong contender for the Scott fiberglass hugger.
If Scott changes the adhesive strip for a mounting bracket like the one used by eDrive, it would be a good improvement for his product. The Sportisi hugger is based in the ZX-10R swingarm and has good looks, but unfortunately has several design flaws and has been plagued by complaints regarding poor quality issues. Back to the drawing board folks!! Here is the link to the eDrive hugger e-bay site: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Kawas...Q5fAccessories |

I have the carbon fiber from Scott. It looks very similar to this one from motoworks. Not but at about half the price. I will like to get the front fender and the tank extender. But I will tell you the I hate the looks of the handle bars that come with 250r. I will replace those before I commit to the carbon fender and the rest.
