"Run What You Brung" at Burnout Festival

Rub shoulders with famed racers and hit the track with your own ride

Hear ye, hear ye! Gentleriders,* gentlemen, and ladies, you are invited to Donington Hall to for the very first Burnout Festival, a celebration of all things motorcycles and speed on this weekend of September 1 and 2, 2018. Your host, Norton Motorcycles, has a full menu of activities planned and hopes you will be able to join.

Whether you like racing, Norton bikes, or just motorcycles in general, the first Burnout Festival is the place to be this weekend. Hosted at Norton's Donington Hall in Derby, UK, on and off-track events await the visitors throughout the weekend. Big names such as John McGuinness, James Hillier, and Lee Johnston will be attending.

Riders will be given a chance to put their wheels on the track in one of the "Run What You Brung" racing sessions taking place on Norton's one-mile strip. Parades and concours*display are on the agenda as well*and visitors are invited to visit the paddock and pits.

MEANWHILE ON THIS SIDE OF THE POND: The Motorcycle Cannonball is Coming and We Are Ready

Off the track, festivalgoers will find food, live performances, shops, bars, and food to keep everyone well fed and happy. Pack your tux and sequins in your saddlebags and join a racing crowd dressed to the nines at the Riders ball hosted the hall. A five-course meal awaits the guests and the formal evening will conclude with fireworks.

For the non-locals, camping accommodations have been set up to allow visitors to pitch a tent at the Priest House Hotel, located only a few minutes away from the festival site.

Sponsor Arai event offers a free helmet service by providing a full factory inspection, free fitting of factory tear-offs, and vent and visor adjustments.

Tickets for the event and certain activities cost between £20 and £95 (US$ 20 to $120). If you hadn't made plans for the weekend, it's not too late to pack your bags and head out to Derby for Norton's Burnout Festival!
