Scheduled Maintenance - What do I do next ?
Hey All,
I know I may SEEM lazy but I have tried to look at my 2009 Ninja manual and I just cant figure out what I am suppose to do next for maintenance. I always get a yearly oil change (before the winter storage) and maintain my tire pressure at all times. But, what is the next maintenance item I should be doing ? I have about 4800 miles. I mean, is it necessary or what ? My dealer charges me a small fortune even look at her and times as we all know are tight, money wise. I am not handy, what do you recommend ? Anything ? Thanks, Red

Did you do the 4,000 mile maintainence? It's your yearly inspection items plus sparkplug check, brake check, and an oil change. It should be cheaper than the 600 mile one, but don't quote me or anything. I'm just about ready to do my 600 mile maintanence myself...

I read it the same way, too, when I first looked at that chart, which is why I'm clarifying what you had previously stated.
That PDF page is very misleading. |

Yeah, I have already had the oil changed, last year, right before I put it away for the winter. I guess just eye balling things are what is on the list before I start riding. Will do.
