Rough and Low Idle

Hello,

It's been about 2 weeks since I laid my bike down

I had trouble getting it started. It would crank but not catch. However, with some great advice from you guys I got her to start tonight! I ended up opening the gas tank and cranking with WOT.

It's about 75 degrees here so I probably had the choke on for about 4 minutes. With the choke she idled well and then as I took it off, it began to idle around 1000 rpm. When I gave it throttle without the choke, it died on me so I am concerned. She did start back up but it is not idling as strong as it did before the crash. I am thinking this is fuel system related, what do you think?

Clogged carbs...? Do I need a disassemble them to clean them or can I use carb cleaner?

its pretty easy to put seafoam in and see if it helps. if not you might, if that is indeed the problem. hard to say with limited info.

Also check that all the vacuum hoses are leak free and that all the connectors of the spark coils are OK.

I recommend so because the bike rode OK immediately after the crash (while engine still hot, I guess) and something (hose or cable) may have gotten disconnected during the fall.

No apparent reason for the carbs to become dirty suddenly, if you have not changed anything else.
May be a stuck float or float valve due to the fall could be another thing to inspect with a fuel level check.
