any ideas...
as what to use to cover the whole under the seat after the fender is eliminated. I don't want to spend much money. those kits are $$$. thnaks

go hunting, kill a deer, skin it, use the skin to cover the space needed.
you can keep the fur if you want seriously though, there was a really good diy done cheap pretty recently on the forum http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=129535...which you happen to be the most recent post of. Basically anything will work so long as you make it fit, metal is the easiest to keep in place and I wasn't completely kidding about using animal hide. |

A rear fender is your best bet.
