Hard time seeing in the rain

I got caught in the rain coming home one night and I could barely see anything out of my visor. I opened it to help get a better view but I wear glasses so they got wet as well. Luckily I was only a few minutes from the house but it was still a bit scary. Is there anything I can do to help with visibility in the rain?

Helmet with pinlock and gloves with a visor wipe. If you have pinlock (or something similar like fog city or invision inserts), then your visor won't fog up on the inside and you won't have to open your visor, which causes all the water to go inside. Once water gets on the inside of the visor, you can't fix that other than stopping and drying off your helmet. Visor wipes are self explanatory.

at speeds of about 50mph and above a quick turn of the head 90 degrees to the left and right (like you're checking your blind spots prior to a lane change) will allow the wind to shear off the raindrops, repeat as necessary.

I know that doesn't solve the low-speed issues.

I do this too. The everclear shields help with fog issues.

I'll give pin lock another try. Didn't like the extra glare it added but if I can see when it rains it will be worth it.
