I'm an a**hole...

My poor Bike-bike...

It started with me getting busy, and then it got really cold, and then my registration expired, and I needed to switch state licenses before I could renew the reg, and then it was f***ing cold and I couldn't get her inspected and now I'm just an a** who didn't winterize her beloved bike-bike and instead left her on the street to rust and be cold and be covered in snow :0(

I know! I told you! A**hole! My plan had been to winterize, pull her onto the end of the driveway (where normally I'd get parked in, but it wouldn't matter for the winter) and cover her. But... unlike last winter, this one suuucccksss.

i thought that wadded up thing in front of the bike was a bike cover, or the tattered remains of one.

Oh, nah... I don't really know what that is? Something that fell off a car?

ahh ok i see it now, its a plastic skirt from under someones bumper. i have fit my ninja into a regular door frame, are you on ground lvl where you could squeeze her into a hallway or anything?

im lucky enough to have garage space for my ninja but back when i got my first one i didnt have space at that time and i thought about making a movable shed for it and it was going to be really cheap. you could pull this off with a 16$ tarp and about 10-20$ worth of pvc pipe. the one i thought of would cover the whole bike with no problems but in the end i ended up getting my brothers **** thunderbird out of my garage so i had room for it.

here is just one example of a cheap shelter for your baby:

and this is more along the lines of what i was thinking about and also a link to how to build this one.

This winter caught a lot of us off guard. When everything gets thawed out I bet it starts right up. If nothing else, get some fuel stabilizer in her ASAP.

Eh, it'll probably be OK. There's no salt in the snow that ain't on the ground. And if it has a 50/50 antifreeze water mix...

When the snow's gone, you might consider removing the battery and bringing it indoors for a charge. First spring day, you'll renew your love for one another.
