Skyline Drive With My Daughter

Went on a good ride today. Took some back roads to Front Royal, then went 30 miles down the skyline drive then down 211 into Warrenton where we had lunch before heading home.

Put about 150 miles on the bikes.

Do you have to pay to drive on Skyline if you're a resident of Va? If so what was it, $7-$11... If so that was an expensive 30mi. lol Awesome road though, and some beautiful scenery.

It was $15 each for a 7 day pass. So to get our money's worth we are going back out next weekend.

Yeah it was an expensive 30 miles.

But what price do you put on a beautiful ride with your daughter?

love 211, usually I skip the pass because I'm cheap but there are still tons of great roads in the area and the views are neverending

I've got to make it back down before the fall hits

Our passes are good for a week, so we may be heading back down Saturday depending on the kids home work load.

Weather not looking that good around here this weekend.

Friday looks pretty nice, but I will have to work this one so will probably ride to work. Saturday is looking like thunderstorms and Sunday have other obligations.
