Valve checks

Just an FYI...

I have close to 9000 miles on the bike, I took it in for a valve check.
My valves did need adjustments, I will have the full report Saturday.

The dealer and I were both surprised it needed done. So, don't forget to check them or put it off.

Surprising as most do not need an adjustment until well beyond that mileage.Keep us updated.

Noted! I need time now to do mine. She just passed 14,000 miles so it's time to check 'em.

$200.00 for the dealer to do it.
My bike is still under warranty, so I spend the extra to let them do the work. The guy working on it was the one who put it together out of the crate....

I did have them install the brake lines for an extra $$ while it was there. I get her back Saturday, so I will keep you all posted.

Wow, that's cheap for a dealer. What dealership are you using?

Cyclewerks in Lima is highway robbery. $150 labor just to change tires. Bastards.

It was $400 at my dealer, but the closest shop to me wanted $1,200 because of the "difficulty of taking the cans out and timing it"
