Help! Dropped socket into engine...

I was adjusting the valves on my bike today and the 9mm socket fell when pulling my ratchet out

I can see it, it looks to be on top of the chain on the right side of the bike, but I can't get my magnet into there. It's too twisty, it looks like the magnet bounced its way down to where it sits.

Any suggestions? Is it possible to take the chain out? Or at least the metal brace on top of it?

Got it...I can stop having mini-heart attacks now. I managed to bend and finagle the mangetic rod enough to get the socket.

I have a metal bracket in one of my Bronco's headlights - drunk buddies - that I have not been able to remove for a few years. Might try again when the weather cools off - thanks for the reminder.

Haha, no problem. I'm just glad to have been able to finish this valve adjustment.
