I like the looks of this a lot. Appears to be a great commuter platform... VERY light, simple, the right amount of power for what I actually encounter every day. I'm not sure I'd have it as my only bike, but at this point I'm definitely a two-bike guy so not an issue.
No gear indicator is a miss, but that should be easy to rectify. Weak brakes, ditto with braided lines and a pad upgrade to start. Wish it were a twin, but I get the point of putting a thumper in it.

sounds like it was going to be good track bike, then they kept the motor unchanged. i had hoped for some more power.

Little bike for the track... R3, Ninja 400, RC390. I see a lot of R3s and RCs at track days. Ninja 400s are starting to appear and will likely become very popular.
